“Hinamatsuri” was originally held in the hope that girls would grow up in peace. The girl’s parents will buy “hinaningyo” dolls set and decorate them in their home on Mar 3rd.
After the girls grow up, they appreciate the dolls for peace. Our executive committee is collecting those disused dolls for the festival to decorate them again. I hope you can feel the Japanese tradition here.

The gallery of "ENOMOTO Collection"60 kinds of dolls collected from all over JAPAN is opening from 9am〜5pm at 2nd floor of city library.
